摘要：A thin, flexible absorbent structure comprising a flexible substrate and anaqueous liquid absorbing material disposed on said substrate, wherein said aqueousliquid absorbing material comprises a homogeneous mixture of a hot melt adhesive andan aqueous liquid absorbing polymer, wherein the aqueous liquid absorbing polymer ispresent in the mixture in an amount greater than 1% by weight of the mixture and theaqueous liquid absorbing structure has an absorbency greater than about 5 g/g, and aGurley Stiffness less than about 400 mg and a caliper less than about 4 mm.
