“The pursuit of happiness “ is the name of a film. The film shows us a story about a man who builds up from nothing. Chris Gardner was a 28 years old father. He determined to be a good father and be responsible to his little son. He went to hospitals every day to sale bone scanners. However, his career was not suitable and he leaded a dog’s life. Accidentally, he knew to be a stock broker doesn’t need a college degree. As he is persistent and clever, he got a chance to be a intern in a company during six months without salary and only one person would be employed at last. Just at that time , his wife left him because she could not bear the poor, tough life. Chris Gardner and his son could afford the rent and had to live the life of a vagrant. Finally, his hard work paid off. He got the job as a stock broker. Later , he even had his own company.

This film is a typical inspirational one as well as very touching . Chris Gardner said in the movie:“ You got a dream, you gotta protect it”Although the leading actor is near thirty years old and don’t have a college degree, he had a dream, so he must protect it. Chris Gardner told us how to pursue your dream and never give up. To avoid to go to the toilet and save time , he didn’t drink water on work . He called his clients constantly and always wore a smile on his face even he was desperate at heart. He told us no matter how hard the life is now , as long as you have a hope , you have a dream ,

you can go and fight for it . You can give yourself and people around you happiness by your hard work and never give up.
